Overview

Custom Extensions Creator lets you create custom 2.0 extensions directly on the Dynatrace web UI.

You can:

  • Create new extensions
  • Import existing extensions from your environment or a file
  • Change metrics, groups, dimensions, feature sets, and more
  • Quickly build, sign, and publish extensions to your environment

Get started

To use Custom Extensions Creator, the user must be granted the following permissions:

  • The AppEngine - User policy.
  • A policy with permissions:
ALLOW environment-api:extensions:write;
ALLOW environment-api:extensions:read; 
ALLOW extensions:definitions:read;
